We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth and shape the strategy behind our next-generation hybrid cargo drone operations. You’ll identify key markets, close strategic partnerships, and build the commercial foundation of a company transforming autonomous logistics. 

At NEX Aero, business development is not a support function, it’s where market insight meets execution.

Your responsibilities

  • Identify high-value markets and commercial opportunities for our cargo drone services 
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships across logistics, healthcare, and aviation sectors 
  • Define and pitch value propositions, pricing strategies, and business models 
  • Collaborate closely with product, operations, and marketing to align execution with market needs 
  • Track industry shifts, customer insights, and competitors to stay ahead of the curve

Your profile

  • Solid track record in business development, partnerships, or strategy, ideally in tech, mobility, or aviation 
  • Strong commercial instincts and a hands-on, results-driven approach 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills 
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability start-up environment 
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English, as well as C1-level German, are required
