Program Manager / Project Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Program Manager / Project Manager to support in the definition of the product vision, and shape the strategy behind our next-generation cargo drone operations. You’ll lead the development program activities and technical project management.   

At NEX Aero, program and project management is not a support function, it’s where strategic thinking meets execution.

• Support in the definition of the product roadmap 
• Develop and maintain the frameworks that enable implementation of the product roadmap 
• Derive and communicate program and project goals - Own and balance the program scope, budget, and schedule in a way that supports the company strategy and goals 
• Plan and execute program and technical milestones 
• Provide guidance for the technical team on selecting priorities 
• Track progress and dependencies, identify and track the critical path 
• Identify and communicate risks, and develop mitigations in collaboration with the technical and commercial team 
• Oversee the daily task management in JIRA 
• Communicate the program status to upper management whenever needed and develop clear, reasoned recommendations 
• Create and maintain dashboards, decision papers and present them 
• Communicate clearly and transparently, and proactively manage interfaces to upper management, engineering, product management, finance, and other stakeholders

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration with technology focus 
• Additional qualifications are a plus 
• Solid technical understanding on drone and propulsion technology 
• Familiarity with aerospace development processes 
• Good understanding of technical feasibility and trade-offs 
• >3 years of project management experience in fast-paced aerospace or automotive environments 
• Track record of leading cross-functional teams 
• Creativity and strategic thinking 
• Strong problem-solving and pragmatic mindset
